Just wanted to introduce myself. I have had fords all my life. And definitely plan on having a marauder in either silver or maroon. Here are a few pics of my rides. I love fords.

No maroon Marauders ... they are Dark Toreador Red (DTR). All are '04 MMs.

Silvers are Silver Birch (SB). '03 or '04.

Other colors are Just Plain Black (JPB) '03 and '04 and Dark Blue Pearl (DBP) only in '03.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. Saw a dark blue one in Harahan, Louisiana the other day and I had to do a double check. Never seen one in person. That must be super rare. Like that color a lot. :beer:

Thanks. 328 made in Blue. DTRs are pretty rare too. Breakout of production below:

Black (JPB): 8,330 (7,093 in 2003 and 1,237 in 2004)
Silver Birch (SB): 1,414 (417 in 2003 and 997 in 2004)
Dark Toreador Red (DTR) 980 (only 2004 model)
Dark Blue Pearl (DBP) 328 (only 2003 model)

Total Production: 11,052 (7,838 in 2003, 3,214 in 2004)

Very nice. You have great taste and I don't mind paying a little more for the right one. No point in regretting what I buy or having second guesses or doubts. I don't mind holding out for the right one too.
 
Noticed there is three different rim styles on the Vic. Did you start with the police little caps them move on to the regular hub caps the rims...I like the rims but I'd stick with the little police caps...Love the look, ESPECIALY on in black...Mmmmmm...

Good eye. I started out with the black steelies and chrome center caps. The goodyear rsa-plus tires that the cvpi's come with are complete crap. A few months after owning it I bought the hub caps from the ford dealer for about $50 a piece. And a few months later the soft goodyears wore out. I switched to the 2011 Crown vic wheels with the much better oem sized Michelin tires. I also switched the all black fascia and black honeycomb grille out for the chrome bar grille and chrome rear fascia. That cars has been through a lot. :D I liked it with the 17" hubcaps the most.
