New owner near Ottawa Canada

Picked up my black 03 about a month ago now. Purchased from original owners who attended the dealer drive away program as theirs rolled off the assembly line. Even lucky enough to have gotten the window sticker with it. It has travelled to Florida a number of times over the years from Canada, so it has 207,000kms (128 K miles?) on it. It had not been used much in the last 4 years, so I had a grocery list of things to attend to....but it drives beautifully now. The kicker is, I discovered the rockers were starting to go, so I consulted a local restoration shop. I was advised to have them cut out and replaced. Upon digging further, the "dog legs" in front of the rear wheels needed to be done as well as a few other minor spots. Needless to say, it's getting an entire paint job! I never intended to get this deep into the car, but for some reason I feel the car needed saving. Once I get it back, I will be recalibrating the ECU as I have access to SCT Advantage dealer software and have previous experience dyno tuning. I will be sure to share the process with all of you.
I anxiously await getting my ride back late this week...then the fun begins!

Welcome Chris, it's nice your getting that done now. That car has a better chance of lasting longer, recently there have been many part outs and online and personality seen a couple that could use new owners. (no one from here)
It's not hard to keep them clean and presenting. Enjoy

I met Jim probably 16-18 years ago. We did some valve body work on a CVPI for him. It was the road test in that car that I blame for putting the Panther bug in me. Many years later and I finally own one.

Car is painted! I am going tomorrow morning to assist in putting lights and trim back in. 6 coats of black sexiness

You, Chris and I need to get together. I'm in the west end, driving the marauder a bit more since selling my GN. It hasn't been out much with all the rain we've been getting, but I did have it out tonight, did some data logging for Marty O.
