I have been reading the posts the last few days since picking up my 03 Marauder last Monday and decided to make myself known finally :)

I'm 28, live in Warner Robins, GA and also own a 2003 Nissan 350z and 1996 Ford Ranger (The Beater).

Back when I bought the Z I was actually looking for a Marauder but couldn't find one around here. The Mercury dealer told me they get them through special order only because the numbers were limited. That turned me off to it so I got the Z then but over the last year the urge for the MM finally took hold so when I saw one online at a dealership for cheap I ran up to Atlanta to grab it and so far love it.

Driving back from Atlanta with it a rock was kicked up and chipped the windshield :( and yesterday noticed the rear driver side door lock actuator is bad. Not worried over that as I know how to change them out.

I found the speed volume control thanks to this forum, and have been reading about mods some. I think my first mods will be in this order:

1) Tint (I feel completely retarded without it as if I'm driving around naked or something)
2) Flowmaster Muffler (I've used 2 chamber one with my old mustangs but think 3 chamber will be a bitter classier and toned down)
3) Intake (The K&N is somewhat high but I'm sure reliable)

Sorry to keep babbling...just wanted to say hello!

Welcome Aboard!!! And Thank You for bringing to my attention the Speed Volume feature on our radios.....
I completely missed that thread.

Welcome, that was my first mod too, a new winshield thanks to those boys in Motown! Every cool car in the world can be seen there, too bad there are no drivable roads.

:) Welcome to the board, and congratulations on your purchase! Sorry to hear about the injury to your new vehicle on the way home.

What he said !! That really is sucky about your windshield. Several years and cars ago, I had a piece of two by four fly up from the back of an empty car hauler on the interstate and hit smack dab in the center of the windshield. Didn't seem to harm the car, but it took several hours for my sphincter to unpucker.

I got hit by a rock(small boulder;) ) @ Dreamwood,It missed the windshield by less than an inch,

Probably be better off if it hit the glass instead:( .Now theirs a ding and a chip.

Ryan,

Welcome to the site! You'll find the answers to all your MM questions here! If you don't see your answer, (via the search tool) then just ask, (no matter how big or small the problem/mod/idea... whatever). Chances are if you have a question, someone here has thought about it, talked about it, or done it.
Welcome to the site that's All Things Marauder. I've learned a LOT since I've been here... I know you will too.

Talk to you soon.

We have drivable roads in Detroit. But we aren't gonna tell the tourists.

Hey Joe .... setting the speed volume does not count as a mod .. nor does it increase your RWHP.

Thanks guys for the responses and to who asked, no, I am not in the Air Force but 99% of this town is :)

:welcome: Ryan, to our world of mostly big guys with bigger grins. After the window tint, I'd be thinking about the various ways to cover those stupid hockey stick emblems. Do a search, as many of 'em are very clever. For instance, Merc used a Harley emblem for the center on his trunk, which is way cool. I found '69 Grand Marquis ones and lots of guys use the God's heads from the center wheel caps that look very good. Oh, don't forget the Shiney Hiney kit from Wes Chain at Innovative Interceptors, one of our vendors. You didn't tell us what color, but since it's an '03 I'm guessing black. :)
