new wheels & tires

These are the new wheels and tires I bought. I've been looking at buying these wheels off and on for 4 years. I wasn't sure if they would look as good as the stock wheels but I have to say they really set the car off. They are Boss 338 chrome staggered fitment 20x10 rear and 20x8.5 front with Falken tires. It rides good and the tires have excellent handling character.

Thanks guys. They don't rub and there is room to lower the rear a little bit. I'm gathering parts for the big brake upgrade, already have Jerry's brackets. The pics don't do them justice. You really have to see them in person.

look like Torque Thrust II's, you have the 4x4 look, lot's of ground clearence and easy to get in/out of the car ;)
Everyone is lowered, be different - looks cool.

Will they tuck in the front or will they hot if the car is lowered. What size tires are they. Any better side pics of the front. I have been wanting the same wheel in gray

I appreciate the comments and suggestions. The OE wheels enhance the look of the car perfectly and I will never get rid of them but I also think that these wheels enhance the look just as well yet differently. When I met and talked with Bob Babcock about the car at Marauderville in Indianapolis a few years back, one of the things he said was part of his design for the car was that it also be a kind of "blank slate" for personalizing. So...TO EACH HIS OWN

There's the problem. You spoke to Bob Babcock and he gave bad advice. Steve Babcock would have said OEM wheels or nothing. :D

You beat me to it, Paul... ;)

While I'm not a fan of the OP's wheels per se, they definitely look better than I thought they would for 20s.

Agreed - 20's in general (not these) took time for me to like. A few years ago anything over 18" looked ghetto to me, now anything under 18" looks dated and I see more and more 20's that I like.

Funny how that went . . . .

Needs lowered. I like the rim choice. Does it stick out past the front fender lip though??

The best 20"s I've seen yet. 2,4showfast and jus4kix03mm

I like LowbuckMM's also but couldn't find a pic.

You are correct on the name...my bad. Did you speak with "Steve" Babcock too? And he didn't say OE wheels or nothing. You are incorrect.
