Yesterday at SSHS2 race / show the Doraville, Georgia Police Department had one of their Impala SS cruisers on display. After I parked nearby the officer walked over to talk and told me that they had just purchased two Marauders to replace their high mileage Impala SS patrol cars! He is next to get a MM as soon as the first two are in service.

The Doraville PD is a interesting group...they have the Impala SS, Z-28s, a WS-6 TA, Blazers and ride Buell STs..and almost everything I have seen is painted black.... The enforcement level they put on GA-141 at I-285 will send your V-1 into overdrive tracking them all..

I work in that area so soon I can expect the "pleasure" of everyone slowing down when I drive through...Oh well at least it will push MM sales up if it catches on...

wayne,thanks for coming out to the shootout! it was nice meeting you and i felt bad after you left seeing as you came out and didn't get to run. i wish i'd have thought about it and you could've taken mine down the track. i wasn't the fastest thing out there (13.5) but it's always fun to stomp on it and let it roll. hope you had a great time. rock on, rus

I have seen these guys on COPS!! It is awesome watching them in pursuit with the BBB. I know they will have plenty off success with the new MM's.

I think I should apply for a job as their tune-up mechanic...HeHeHe
