North West/Western WA MM's meet

Jeez ...All dressed up and no where to go!!! Since XXX looks to be real busy... I'm stumped...unless you want to wait til the next week end and try Cruzin' to Colby http://www.cruzintocolby.com. If there is still space available (deadline was supposed to be 5-15-05) you could choose the Sunday Cruz (limited to 400 cars) or the Monday Show and Shine (limited to 800 cars). They are a little spendy at $20 per car but maybe its a quick warm up for MVIII and WDC. Heck if you wanted to go on Saturday, you could even attend a live Concert with Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts!!! Hey it's Everett after all ...otherwise maybe we should just try XXX anyway and take our chances.

I just looked at the Rod Run schedule and XXX is having their season opener on 05/22/05.
Nothing wrong with that.......that just means we get to look at some cool vintage tin to boot! We can park our high tech stuff in the back 40 somewhere. Although I'm game for any other place too! There's an old 50's burger joint on 75th & Evergreen Way in Everett, Forest Park isnt far away with a nice setting. Just an idea :dunno:

I thought of a place, have to check something out today and get back to you this evening.

Here we go, a vacant theater and parking lot next door to a Mr. Bill’s restaurant (a 50’s car theme). Next door is a Lincoln Mercury Dealer, also a City Park with a Lake. Next to the Dealer is an Outback Restaurant. Across the street is a Car Toys store. Across the street the other way is a K Mart. Easy freeway access. Also close to two parks with lots of shade for Polishing. All this in Seattle.

Here is the address for Olympic Lincoln Mercury:

13001 Aurora AvenueNorth
Seattle, WA 98133

You guys can go to mapquest.com and get directions. Remember, Mr. Bill's is right behind the dealership, so the address above will take you right to the restaurant.

It's a pretty good size parking lot, so parking should be not a problem. I was just there about 30 minutes ago to check it out. I couldn't remember the size of the lot.

I may be able to make it. I have to work OT on Saturday, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to escape home on Sunday....going to try.
