I wonder if these are capable of being "turned"?
Well, they're mighty heavy and seem plenty thick enough. The polymer coating "burns off" where the pads contact...I believe it's there more to help protect the rest of the rotor from corrosion.I wonder if these are capable of being "turned"?
What with the polymer coating and all...
I've had minimal dust show up after about 1000 miles, it really depends on how much driving you do and whether you are braking a lot. I've been doing about 1000 mi a month with a lot of stop and go traffic so I expected there to be some brake dust. It really does not bother me as once or twice a week I wipe my wheels off anyways.Prefect timing for this thread.. I have been looking for rotors and loaded calipers.. I was thinking about R1 rotors and high performance pads.. but I dont want the dust.. 62000 mi on Oe pads.. no dust at all.. So how is the dust on the Raybestos pads?
