Officially a Dark Blue Pearl Marauder Owner................

Check engine light came on today after disturbing the charcoal canister. (Car wont take fuel clicks the pump off every dollar). I took it all apart and cleaned everything hoping to un-stick the vent valve. Will pull codes tomorrow, love the car.

When I did the fuel filter on mine, it tripped the CEL as well. Reset the codes and it never returned.

As for your lift, wish I had one in the garage!

Yeah CEL was Fuel Pump Driver Code. (when I pulled the relay to relieve fuel pressure). Cleared no problem.

Yes, the lift is VERY useful. :)

You should get a set of blue letter floor mats from redline tuning while they still have some may be last chance=great quality

I stopped by to "get my cell phone charger" today at the body shop where my blue car is. It was just an excuse to see it. I missed it, it has been there for 2 days. I must say it looked pretty decent. I would say that they have removed 75% of the scratches, marks, stains etc from the paint. The rear bumper cover turned out pretty good (shipping truck damaged it) but the front bumper cover is still kind rough. I will drive it through the winter and may paint the covers this spring. We will see. So far so good get to pick it up tomorrow. They have some small areas to work on but essentially it is ding free and cleaned up the best it can be without paint work. Here is what it looks like in the parking lot today. (cell phone pics)

Car looks much better, still needs some work though. My windows have either acid rain spots or hard water deposits. Need to do some research on how to clean those up.

I used a cup of vinegar to a quart of water in a spray bottle. sprayed it on, rubbed and wiped dry using microfiber towels, to get rid of water spots on my rear window and windshield.

Hot Detail Trick on lightly scratched areas ==Use macguires number 7 scratch remover sealant ,follow instructions apply with circular motion , let dry and remove with soft towel ,this will remove most surface defects.this is a smoke and mirror magic trick ,you will notice no powder dust in removal and a deep shine .another hot trick for the whole car is" Liquid Glass' if you can find it ['pep boys'] apply to a section at a time , let dry and wipe off and you will be amazed !! these are Hot tips from the "Detail recondition MASTER"

Thanks guys. I do like the Meguires Products. I am a fan of their cleaner wax and M20 Polymer Sealant. I will try the number 7 on the hard water stains on the lower portion of the car (under the door edge guard). I was hoping the shop would do these areas but I think I got what I paid for. I dont mind doing some of it myself. I am just afraid of abrasives.

Nothing is denting the glass stains........... might take it to a glass shop this week..............
