OP, this car is not totaled.

Pull interior, clean & dry everything, open wining harnesses & clean/re-tape/loom, disconnect plugs, clean and fill with die-electric grease - reassemble.

1 or 2 weekends grunt work = done! No need to involve insurance or anything.

Also, have foglight wiring, too.

You and me both. Spend a day taking the interior out, chase down everything that could get wet. Easy fix with LKQ Grand Marquis parts.
