I bought mine in April of 2004, new from the dealership. The dealer didn't even know that the Marauder was a car in the Mercury inventory. Mine was the first (and only) Marauder they sold at his dealership in the two years it was available.

My car was on a lot in the Boston area and they had to send someone up there to get it. Ironically, I was on the phone placing the order to the dealer in Westwood NJ, while on a trip in Boston. I could have just bought the car while on my trip if I had known.

Funny how you look at the past, I purchased a 2003 Grand Marquis LS in 2003 and it has been a nice a car, but wow wish I had purchased the Marauder instead. All is well though I now have both.
