Here's a few teaser pics of the Louisville police escort from the restaurant back to the hotel on Saturday night. I am about in the middle of the convoy. Can't wait for the video. Failure to obey strict MM Convoy discipline can lead to harsh consequences as you can see here. :D

I have been impatiently waiting for pics of the escort from Pig City BBQ to the Host Hotel.

John and Bill (LMPD) did a great job in ensuring our cars remained together for the ~4 mile return trip.

Being the lead car of the convoy, I was amazed at how fast John in the marked car blew past us on Blankenbaker to get to the next intersection :eek:.

He HAD to be nearing triple digits on that stretch.

Speaking of triple digits..

John and Bill enjoyed the ride Dennis gave them in his MM.

Now those are some pics I'd love to see! Based on their grins as they pulled back into the hotle parking lot, Dennis must have given them a good one.

When they returned to the Hotel, Bill riding in back told me he was pinned to the seat, his head was thrown back as was his hair.

And the windows were up!

Why was Dom picked out to Assume The Position? Maybe they assumed that he was a punk rocker or Misfit. Ha ha, I wish I were there.

Yep, Gordon and Chris were there for the entire event. Don't know exactly where they were in the escorted convoy line. Doom made the drive down as well. You missed a real blast of a time in Louisville, KY. We ran a Black-Blue-Silver mini-convoy from Louisville back to Charlston, WVa on I-64 on Sunday. When Gordon/Chris peeled off to head north on I-77, N40GL and I continued east on I-64 until I dropped off at Tamarack for a pit stop. ;)

Sound like tons of fun for the C.A.M. Crew. I just got my engine running right and the Louisville KY event was a pipe dream. Maybe next year. Look like a good turn out. Can't wait to hear the stories. :beer:
 
We ran a Black and Blue Blue Blue (no, not stuttering) convoy to northern Indiana. Except for Dom passing me on the left (I was in the left lane, ask him) it was uneventful.
