polished my upper intake lid

So, are you gonna tell us how you did it? Off, on, dremel tool, polish, what?
I left it on the car because I've never removed the upper lid. But I used a palm sander from harbor freight with 80/120 grit to file it down to the metal finish. Its not perfect in the tight places because I was just testing in the large areas. Next I used 400/600/1000 wet sanding paper to smoove out the scratches. Then mother polish to give it that shine. I'm buying a dremel when my next off day come so I can get those hard to reach places.

By all means man, go for it. At least your hands won't blister. I'm just experimenting and so far, its going well
