I have an 04 SB MM. I know there were 997 SBMM made in 04, but how can I find out what number mine is of the 997?

You can get the numbers two ways;

If you want an official certificate with this information go to the Ford website (see link below). Go to the link below, then click on "Certificates of Authenticity" and then to the "Marauder Certificate" toward the bottom of the page. This route will cost $45 for the certificate, but in my humble opinion very well worth it. http://www.fordshowparts.com/store.cfm?store_id=1

or for free you can call "1-800-FORD-788" and for us old farts that have trouble reading the letters on the phone the number is "1-800-367-3788", when asked press "1". Have the last 6 digits of your VIN ready. They will give you the numbers you are looking for.
