Raceway Park Cruise Nights 2012

Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ is slowly trickling out their schedule of Tuesday night "Cruise Nights". These are free car shows that are held in the big parking lots at the racetrack. There is food and drink to be had, music, some rock crawling, a burn-out contest and they offer 1 free pass down the 1/4 mile for those interested.

So far, the only 1 listed is for Tuesday, May 8th. I expect to be down there, hopefully by 5pm. Hope to see some MM's!
 
Bumping this up....

First Cruise Night is this Tuesday, 5/8. If the weather cooperates (and it's not lookin too good right now), I expect to be down there around 5:30. Unfortunately I'd only be able to stay a short time as I'll likely have my boys and it's a school night. If it turns-out to be nice, and you've got nothing going on, come on down!

Have to sell the Cadillac first. Thought I had a deal this last weekend.
NFG to that Dealer in Pheonix, as well as one guy in Texas.
I will keep looking. But I have to sell the Cadillac.

E=town sounds like a go. I also think the shows at the Wiskey Cafe will be starting
soon. Rt 18 S off Rt 3 E or W in Lynhurst NJ Nice show. Saturday Nights.

Anyone else here in Jersey or SI know of anything?
I know there was or is Bellmore Train Station on a Friday Night. Get there early.
it fills up fast.

I'll be heading for the Whiskey shows pretty soon. (rt 17s, not 18,)

I'm heading down to Wildwood this weekend for the classic car Spring show. Marauders are too new for that show. Weather looks great.

Another Jersey show (also on Saturday nights) is a place in Augusta called The Chatterbox.

It's a bit of a hike from Paramus, and I understand it fills up fast.

On Wed nights, there used to be a pretty nice show in Wykoff in the parking lot where there once was a NJ Motor Vehicle office.

Rutts Hutt in Clifton has a show, but I forgot which night. I'll remember.

As I recall the Rutts Hut was on a Tuesday.
I haven't thought about them in a long while. I'd call first, unless you know otherwise.
The Lincoln dealer has a nice collection, I think these cars are on consignment.
They were the one that had that SB with 1950 miles on it. Was a very nice car

a Marauder there. I'll look for yours. Lot of Mustangs and rice with bling there.

Don't look for a Marauder, I don't own one.

I usually bring my 64 Galaxie 500XL convert (turq/black interior) or, rarely, my 03 retro TBird, black/saddle interior.

That Bellmore show is pretty awesome. Used to frequent it when I lived in NY. Unless they changed something, it's pretty dark when the sun goes down though(lights in parking lot were weak).

There's a show on Saturday nights in the A&P/Friendly's lot, Rt9 South and Ferry Rd, in Old Bridge. Not bad, it's got 50's type music playing, 50/50, trophies. There's a guy with the cleanest black Marauder I've ever seen shows up from time to time.

Raceway Park/Englishtown: Rt 9 South, Right on Texas Rd (west), go 2 lights (about 1.5 miles) and make left on Rt 527 (Old Bridge/ Englishtown Rd), go about 1 mile and bear left on Pension Rd (big "Raceway Park" sign), go about 1/2 mile and make left into Raceway Park. Stay to your left and follow road around to other side of track where the big parking lots are.
Russell, you gotta bring that STS-V down!!

Sunday I think during the summer sometime I'm not sure when.
Perhaps someone will know and post up

The Cruise Night is next Tuesday, not Wednesday (not sure if that changes anything for you). Unfortunately, if you can believe it, they're calling for rain again :mad2: I'm anticipating a wash-out.
The big show/swap meet was this past weekend at Englishtown. It's a 3-day event. There's another 1 in the fall.
If you're gonna head down to the A&P/Friendly's show on a Saturday night, shoot me a PM and I'll let you know if I'm available.

The Fuddruckers we meet at has a show on Tuesdays. I am going to hit this one sometime this Summer. I generally do the Hackettstown meet on Thursdays 5-9ish. I know it's far for many of you but if you have the time come on up.

Hey Tom, yeah rain sounds about right. This Tuesday was a reschedule of a reschedule anyhow, so it was destined to be rained-out :mad:

It'll likely be rained-out. If they reschedule, I'll post it up.
 
are they still having that cruise night on route 9. a&p and freindlys on saturday nights . I didn't see any signs. tom
