Racing Pedals - UPDATED PICTURES

SRP specializes in racing pedals. This is what we've been doing since 1995. Our pedals are made to fit your vehicle specifically. You do have to drill holes to mount the pedals. Once installed they are a part of your car with no chance of coming off. Our pedals have the highest levels of grip, much higher than the standard factory rubber pedals. Below are some pictures of the different surface finishes.

The Machined finish is our standard finish. These pedals are left the way they come off the cnc machine. They are very bright, but not polished. Satin is our best selling finish. It is an extra $10 over the base price. The Satin gets media blasted after being machined. Both the Machined and Satin are machined from 1/8" billet aluminum. The Grid is our second best selling finish. The Grid, Block, and Cleat finish pedals are machined from 3/16" billet aluminum, which is 50% thicker than the Machined and Satin. This extra thickness is not added for strength, but to allow more surface detail to be added. I've never once heard of one of our pedals bending or breaking. At this point we have around 250,000 units sold, so I think we have a good track record. Due to the additional aluminum and much longer machining times, these pedals cost an additional $50 over the base price.

The following pictures are to show the different surface finishes.

After many years of people asking how the grip compares to factory, and me telling them they are great, I finally got around to doing some testing to show just how much grip they do have. Now I can answer with actual numbers, instead of subjective opinion. Below are the results of the testing. Just to clarify, the wet test was NOT done with water, but with Armor All. We wanted to do a worst case scenario type test.

Also, just to clarify, we used to make our Grid pedals with flat tops, instead of pointy tops. After doing this testing we have switched all our Grid pedals to the "Pyramid" pointy top style.

The pedal set for the Marauder is a 3pc. set. Gas, brake and parking brake. In the past some people bought them as a 4pc. set, which added a 79-04 Mustang footrest pedal. I think in order to use this you will need to get the oem 79-04 Mustang footrest. I am not sure where you source this or how you install this into the car.

I am going to add the footrest option onto the website for an additional $10. Hopefully someone will chime in who has done this to help us out.

Are you able to do the block with MARAUDER lettering and would it cost more?

I don't have pictures of what it would look like, but doing it should be no problem. You might have to be the first though. No extra charge, other than the Block finish surcharge.

The people who ordered the 4 pedal set had already installed a Kenny Brown dead pedal or made one from scratch.
Glad you're adding the option!

I have had enough interest that I was able to machine some pedals and take pictures of the different surface finishes that are available for the pedals. I updated the first post with the new pictures.

I can vouch I have all four pedal covers in which was brought from a previous vendor here but I see now were made by SRP Racing. They are great. I installed them on my first MM that got totaled took em off and installed them on my second MM never a problem. You will have to drill holes into the factory pedals to mount these but once they are on they go no where. On another note, I have the door sills as well. They are great but to make them greater I recommend the adhesive tape used to mount them should be upgraded. I really prefer using epoxy to stick mine on. Any one has any other question I can chime in if needed. But his product is Grade A perfection.

I think a set of the satin would look great with my dead pedal. But I do not own a Marauder. Would you be able to engrave Interceptor or Crown Victoria instead? Thanks for your time.

Interceptor would look good on there. I think the Crown Vic would be too long for the pedal. I will look into it and post something in the coming days.

Gas Pedal doesn't fit

I'm in the process of installing the pedals and find that the SRP gas pedal cover profile does not conform to the profile of the stock pedal and thus impossible to mount.

The brake and parking brake covers fit perfectly.

Did I get the wrong model? What to do?

Here is a comparison of the stock and SRP profiles.

Found the same with mine when I mounted them a couple of years ago.
You will find that you may have to to slightly twist the gas cover for the gas pedal to make it work.
I think I used a piece of PVC piping to slightly bend or warp mine to make it conform to the pedal surface.

Jolly Roger, not sure what you mean by "twisting". I started a new thread so that my complaint is registered with SRP and not "covered" within another thread. My oversight. You understand.

As you can see by the profile comparisons it's a significant difference and I don't want to chance breaking the pedal until SRP has looked at it.

Cheers,
