Rebuilding Joes wrecked DTR

What's the next move BW? You helped me with my ride it's my turn to help you....... Oh yeah I forgot I am on eaton swap duty.
 
I am just going back with DTR. Nothing fancy. Probably Hid lights painted chin spoiler and cowl hood.
If I find a wrecked 7.3 gas truck, I will toss that into it ,.. the new pushrod motor as a crate is $8100,.. If I can get the truck for 10-12k I’d use it for other reasons too.
I really want something other than the Eaton that’s on it now, a 6 speed auto or a10 is tempting
 
But seriously super cool.. Been coming back out of the woodwork and seeing great build/re-builds like this

Last I checked this tread, the pictures I pasted from fb are gone. Sometime I will reupload the pictures. I’m working 65 hours a week and no time to play with the car. Yes Mebot, I’m just going back with factory red paint. Nothing fancy..

IMG_5001.jpgThis was John Sandburg’s car, he passed away a few years back, his brother drove it for a year. Then he put it up for sale. I bought it because I didn’t want anyone to tear it up. They were only on the neighbors street because we were moving cars out of the garage
