Replacing alternator / recommendations for new

Hello, I’m going to replace my original alternator on the 63 merc. Just wondering what you guys recommend for a new one? Nothing crazy fancy just somthing that will Work well.
 
I would first check if it is an original alternator, chance are its not but if it is I would definitely rebuild the original. Rebuilder's can up the output as well while keeping it stock looking externally.
 
I had a guy check it out a while ago and he said it came out of a park colony from around the same time period. It’s back in the car now but the fins are hitting the bracket when the cars running. Guessing it’s not put back together correctly.
