ok, I did a search, but didn't find much. For the last month or so I've noticed a rubbing sound at low speeds. It sounds like it's coming from something in the rear of the car.
the 'rub, rub, rub' speeds up and slows down with the speed of the car, then I can't hear it any more after about 45 mph, mostly because of engine noise.
I looked at the rear brakes. Nothing seemed out of place, in fact I was amazed how much pad I had left after 34K miles.
I'm thinking maybe warped rear rotors? I'm not sure how I can check for that in my garage.
Could it be something else though?
Thanks.
