Rut roh! Moron GPS manufacturer?

Went to Office Depot and picked up a Magellan GPS system advertised on sale today, $50 off and $50 gas card too. What in the heck was in Magellan's mind when they created this windshield mount for the GPS systems? When attached to the windshield it looks like a police light stuck on. WTF?

i too have one of those... well actually 2 of them both for work. and i had never thought of the blue being distracting but you are right.... i do seeem to get palces faster in the MM when i am using it.... even when i know the route and use MAP lol

Yes it does really light up and with a choice of three colors, and brightness control, I have one too

GPS mount.....

No. It's simply a blue suction cup. After dark. nobody would even notice it. But in daylight it looks like you have a blue light attached to windshield.

Keyboard.....

Yes. It lights up and illuminates the keys.
