saw an 03 blk 300a at the dealership today

Stopped and took a look at it. Has silver pi strip on it. It is at dahl ford in davenport iowa. Anyone here? I started it up and it sounded different. looked underneath and saw it had flowmasters then I looked up futher and saw the kooks longtubes and x-pipe. Everything else looked pretty much stock. Has 35000 miles and they are askin 19,500 or so. But I am good friends with the owners and may be able to get a good deal on it. Wife said I couldnt buy another so I am gonna find out if they would let me swap the headers and x-pipe. Unless someone here may be interested in the car. Might be on there web site. ??? My old one is the only one I ever saw with a silver pinstripe, but thats not it. Dont know where she ended up--traded her in, gone next day never to be seen again

My beast had a silver stripe on it. I liked it, but when I went into stealth mode, I had it removed. I always thought it looked pretty nice.

Well i stopped in today, they got the car with 34200 miles...its already getting close to 36k with "A few test drives". Started it up, kooks exhaust and flow masters sound amazing, but next thing i noticed was the blue cloud coming my way...its burning out. Took it out, hit the gas...stock gears if not lower, car had no pick up at all. There was a sqeak somewhere, thought it was in the rear, then i thought it was in the front then i just couldnt tell. Small scratch under drivers door, small dent on the hood. front rims had no curb rash, not sure about rears. They wanted $19,900. I offered 15, they wont go any lower then $16.5. Not looking to buy it but i thought i would have some fun with the dealer .


BTW, the owners dog, if given the chance to eat beef jerky or goto the bank....the dog would rather goto the bank(no lie). They did a test while i was there hehe.
