Shorty headers

NY state is the worst. NYC and NY state have rules that differ with every vehicle I own and where I get it inspected. I think only recently have they changed the laws so that California emissions rules apply if the car was purchased in NY state with NY/California sticker under the hood. I called NY state about catalytic converter replacement on an 04 Marauder and the part must be a CA/NY certified or it is "illegal". The rest of the country can use a different part #. I am moving to Maine!

KC knows a highly skilled exhaust shop in Sacramento, CA that will build the custom 3" complete exhaust system: headers, X-pipe, cat-back tubes, high flow cats, etc..., give me an extra 30 hp. The problem being, I must find an CA Smog shop that does not look underneath the vehicle nor notice the headers. Plus, pay the $5,000 (min) for a full 3" exhaust system.

Or, just leave all the legal exhaust and buy an ADTR blower to force the exhaust out the ass of the car.

Long and the short of it is, ......., Maine is a beautiful state!

Leave the cats then do 2.5" to the tailpipe with mufflers of your choice Magnaflow xpipes will give a raspy exhaust note. Also I thought you had ported some cobra manifolds?

2.5" Mach I mid to xpipe through Corsa DB blacks.

I think I paid $200 for the Corsa DBs new eBay find, $100 for the Mach I mid pipes prior member then another couple hundred to weld all in with 2.5" pipes. Half the fun is finding deals and researching what others have done to make your own.
