Supercharger ...YES!!!!!

Mike M

BIG BOSS APPLESAUCE
Well I am going to order the ProCharger from Forced Induction Technologies. I talked with Greg today and he filled in all the details. I told him I would talk with the guys on this board who are having their units installed now for some of their seat of the pants feedback.
The price was a BIG factor as was the install time being so much shorter then the others. I know they are all great kits but I feel if they are all making 430ish HP and I can save $1000.00+ and save maybe 8-10 hours of work and still have a quality name like "Procharger" then the decision is easy.
Now I just have to decide where to put the intercooler...I think under the car (stealth!).

Congratulations. Greg and ProCharger have a great product and a great kit. You'll love it! :burnout:

It's a great kit , I've driven TMAC1337's Marauder and it Idle's great, takes off great and the top end ,well it just keeps pulling really hard. 462 RWHP. I'm sure you will be very happy.

Mike, you will love your Procharger! It will seriously impress you from the time you get in it, start it up and go for the first ride... The WOW factor will be a 10!

The power comes on so strong that I will advise you to be really careful. You will be at a 100 MPH so fast you need to remember that you have to stop. It is like the after burner of an F-16. Plus, if and when you decide to sell or trade the car, you can remove the kit and keep the P1 SC for another car. It gives you flexibility and choices. I absolutely love my kit. I personally like the intercooler under the air dam.. Looks wicked. If you opt for that, just get in the habit to back in when you park. The whistle will get serious attention where ever you go. You will be seriously impressed...

I just love to have Marauder owners test drive my car. The choice will be obvious.

:hmmm: But did you take into consideration which kit is actually best suited for the car and not your wallet or how many hours the install will take. :dunno: Then.....the choice would be obvious. :thinker: TR:censor:GY

Mike, congrats on your decision to purchase one of our Procharger based Marauder kits. It will keep a smile on your face everytime you get behind the wheel. :) :burnout:

Thanks, Greg (maraudernkc)

Congrats man, now save up for tires. I have not posted yet, but since I had the Trilogy done, my back tires are wearing out much faster??? :D

Yes I did

Yes I did take everything into consideration as I stated in my post...I just can't find any negatives to the Pro Charger. I think I can blow up my engine just as fast with a Trilogy, DR, or a Pro Charger.
I am a ASE certified Tech and have been wrenching for a living since I have been 18 (I am now 45) and I can tell you that installing a blower in 6 hours as compared to 12+ hours is quite appealing to me. Also having over $1000.00 left over and still make the same HP it’s kind of hard to argue with. Also as we start to get some feedback from other Pro Charger owners, the decision gets even easier.
I am not saying that any of the SC kits are better then the others, just that it makes more economic and time sense to go with a Pro Charger for me.

Please do not the time of install determine which kit you buy :nono: . Consider other reasons. A good kit is worth the time of install ;) . With this being said, I guess all of the kits are good kits. It is nice having another supercharged MM running around. Good luck with your choice and your install.

I kind of look at it like Slim does. It's your $$ and your car, so ofcourse I wouldn't have a problem with your decision since it is in fact your decision to make, but I just cannot even begin to relate to a supercharger decision being based on installation time. No offense guy. Just my viewpoint. Another thing is, that if you're a certified mechanic, I would think that when it comes to HP, that peak HP wouldn't be the only thing you would consider, because where the power #'s are at 3,000 and 4,000 RPM's as compared to other set-ups is important also for a street driven car.

I'm not implying that you have or haven't neccessarily made the right nor the wrong decision for your car, but only pointing out that peak power #'s, and the shortest installation time aren't usually the only major factors in a supercharger choice.:) Anyway, good luck with your car.

Welcome to the Collective.

Congrats on the S/C Mike. You have been assimilated, resistance was futile.

Hey guys, I meant absolutely no offense to anyones choice of supercharger. One Procharger owner to another is what I meant on "choice is obvious." We all love our blowers, regardless if they are Trilogy, DR's or Procharger. My personal feeling and posts in the "Marauder Supercharger World" have been non inflammatory and non confrontational. The way it should be. And I respect any supercharged Marauder and love to see new members getting their Marauder blown, reagrdless of the brand.

We all need to remember the excitment we all felt when getting in the car and going for that first ride:banana:. May the boost me with all of you.....and may more of you get boosted....
