Hey All
so i literally just got home with this new/old Silver Birch Marauder........ its got a dredded light on dash that says suspension...... I`m sure this refers to the air ride as its sitting low in the rear ....................

Question................ Where should I start looking ???? could it be a fuse ? or should i just order new air bags ???? what have you guys done ?>

When you say you just got home do you mean you drove it or trailered it?

--Is switch on or off in the trunk?
--When you start up the car, does the air compressor come on?
--If air compressor comes on, do you see the car rising?
--If air compressor comes on and you see the car rising, is it sitting 'low' again within a couple hours/next day?

Could be a bad compressor, air bag leak (one or both), or a solenoid that's gone bad and needs to be replaced. I recently had my (original) air bags replaced (Apr last year) and about 3 months later the driver's side airbag solenoid gave out. Been fine ever since (knock on wood).

Ended up swapping out the airbags and compressor....... Car is back to sitting proud ~~!! Now I need to figure out what i`m doing on the front end as far as Struts......I bought a new pair from a friend that are designed to be used with coils in rear, called "AIR DITCHER" Can I use these with air bags in the rear ???

Don't forget to up size the holes under the compressor or you'll be replacing that again eventually.

if you bought pre-assembled quick struts for a crown vic or grand marq, the front end height is going to go up.

I would take apart the brand new strut coil assembly safely, obviously, and cut one full coil out. I guess I’ll post a picture of my mom‘s car and that’s what I did years ago

I swear I could have sold 10 black marauders that day.
Just make a random parking spot (break down) put the hood up and leave a phone number.
