tail pipe/muffler removal 03

is there any way to get the tail pipes and mufflers out over the axle in one piece or does one have to cut the pipes off of the mufflers?

If you have the car on a 4 post lift the rear axle will be hanging low enough to get the pipes off..

that is what I was thinking but, Is there enough room for them to clear the axle with the mufflers attached?

No there is not enough room, you would have to cut the pipe off at the back of the muffler to remove the tailpipe.
