The O-ring fix did NOT work.

I shouldn't have sold mine.
Alright, so now what? Jason (2,4shofast) pretty much did it while I watched and freakin it didn't work. Thanks again bud.

Is it possible the little magnets go bad?

When mine stopped working it was intermittent, if I went up a hill and put a load on it would go to defrost/floor. If I let off the gas it would go back to the vents. It did this pretty much the entire way home from TX with the car.

Which valve is it specificly thats the bad one? Could I take another bad unit and take one of the good working valves out of it and switch it?

We used the mctasty o-rings and nada. All the other functions work fine, no vent/max AC.

Anyone have a vacuum line diagram as to what goes where. I'm wondering if maybe it was a vacuum leak since it happened gradually instead of just an abrupt failure.

You might want to try tapping from light tan vacume line above right knee. have to get a T connector, get a peice of hose and run it to where the other black main vacume line plugs in. cap that line. worked for me. worst seniro $3.00 spent and nothing.

Sorry it didnt work out for ya Matt...Hopefully some of these other fixes might work and I can get mine to function as well :)

I took the 03 in to dealer after purchasing another ESP. They replaced the blend door thingahicky and head unit to fix the issue.

I'm just starting to have that trouble. It won't always go back to vent from defrost or floor. I guess I better stay on top of this before my ESP runs out in October.

This definately sounds like a vacum problem.

I would check #17 the one way check valve first. The system should hold vac. even with the car off.

Mine is still retarded, have vent working fully but floor and defrost still put out air on both parts regardless which mode their on. I don't think my basic care ESP covers that junk, would be great if it did but doubtful.
