Turbocharged Coyote/6R80 Swap, Build/Discussion Thread, Pics, info inside!

So apparently Photobucket has restricted linking of pics. I'm working on getting the album moved over to an alternative host, will re-link when I get that taken care of. There seems to be quite the following of Coyote swapped Panthers with the 5.0 getting cheaper and cheaper as the bone yards fill up. I am really happy I am able to provide some pics and such to aid them....once I get them accessible again.

Much appreciated!

I'd like to get in touch with 96gt, as I have a few specific.? S for him. Anybody have a contact email. He doesn't get in here much and I don't seem to be sending messages.

PM sent to you sir.

Hate to bring up an old thread, but this one deserves it!

I've been compiling a list of parts, schematics, and plans needed to do the coyote swap. I have almost everything clear in my head except for a few questions regarding wiring (specifically A/C and integrating with the stock CV PCM).

Can you pm me the email as well?

Thank you!
Jon

Simply let the Stock PCM handle controlling the A/C.

I still need to get around to repairing/moving all of those photobucket pictures....that really sucks what they did to that hosing website! It's going to be a lot of work.....

Just an update, I have since been working on a new project.

I now have a 2017 Mustang GT, and am currently adding a Whipple 2.9L Gen3 kit to. Supposedly 700+RWHP is an easy number on pump gas with these setups....we shall see!

Photo bucket images should work now. They fired the ceo and reinstated previous photos (just have a big watermark on them now).

I still can't my speedometer to work in my MM lol. Been trying to find the old style Dakota box VS the new style to try.

Anyone have any updates on my 'ole girl? Miss her all the time!!

Still in the Coyote game, but just with baby boost. Currently have an S550/Whipple stage 1 setup.

Daydreaming....I thought I wanted a Terminator Marauder w/4R70W. Oh my goodness, a stock gen 2 Coyote 6R80 or a stock gen 3 10R80 has taken hold...

PM me please, I have looked but I lost it......would love to shoot him a text! Thank You!

Invective, that would be awesome. The 10R is a great trans, and a GEN3 Coyote can throw down big HP without opening anything up internally.

I'm super impressed even with this GEN2 setup I have that is entry level.

I do miss my Marauder though.......a lot. I knew due to the circumstances of how I acquired it, that it would never happen again given the rarity of those cars and how hard they are to come by in decent shape.

Miss my big 4 door, esp with a kiddo now :), although we have a great family friendly vehicle, but it doesn't have 8 cylinders and a turbo!

I mean if you want to re-create the magic, I have a roller I'll be listing for sale real soon.

I also have a friend looking to coyote/6r80 swap a 87 colony park wagon who was reading your build thread for ideas.

When you say roller, what does that exactly mean? Is it only missing the engine and transmission? What year? What color? How many miles?
