The Mach is running great, thanks to you and your employees. The Marauder is unreal. The tranny and Converter make that thing run like a completely diffrent car. I might have to get a converter sometime soon, maybe not that high of a stall though.

They offer a Continental breakfast and they have a real nice pool, it close to all the best restaurant's and its 15 min from my shop also here is a link for Gainesville drag strip so I am excited about this, it will be a great time.

Friday we will have the Andy Haney band here with Lunch at noon SJ is making white bean chili along with burgers and sausage dogs and chips, Saturday at Gainesville we will have Country Caterers fix our Lunch

The wife already got Friday off approved, I am waiting on my schedule change approval, if all goes as expected, we will spend Friday night in Orange Park.

It would be nice if all those spending the night were at the same hotel, so for those that are staying at a hotel, which one are you choosing?...:D
 
I resent the whining about Florida SSM members not stepping up to attend this event. The wife and I had already scheduled a weeklong cruise vacation for this fall before this wonderfull DR hosted event was mentioned. Not all of us are in the income bracket to travel at will. I wish to thank Dennis for hosting the event, and I am hoping perhaps he will do it again in the next year or two. It pains me to NOT be able to make this trip.

I have not seen any whining, and there is no excuse for any. I know how tough it is to get here from south Fl I drove 4 hours to the picnic last year and 4 hours back, and as far as next year goes I hope MM4 can be held here. But we can talk about that another day, Sure I hope a lot of you can come, if not we will be thinking of you as we will those attending MM3 so thanks for the support.

Ok the Laquinta is booked, when you call, and please do this right away. To reserve your room call 1-800-531-5900 ask for the Mauauderville special room rate. Doubles are 58.00 executive kings are 68.00 and come with a fridge and microwave there are no Suites at a group rate, all rooms come with a continental breakfast. Lets get this show on the road:bandit:
 
Ok the wife booked a room at La Quinta, good rate. So we will be there Friday morning get Smokie on the dyno see what he's got, drink lots of beer Friday night and off to the races Sat. morning....be there or be square.:beer:

Here is an update: we have booked the La Quinta Inn of Orange Park, the rooms are 58.00 you need to call now for your reservations. It's listed under "Marauderville", they offer a continental breakfast. It's a very nice hotel with a pool, (904)778-9539.

Friday, we are having a dyno day and open house, this will start at 9 AM. Lunch is at Noon. We are having an old fashioned cook out with live entertainment provided by the Andy Haney band. We will be raffling off quite a few things during the day also. We will quit around 5 PM and meet at Whitey's Fish Camp located here in Doctor's Inlet. this is a real neat place with great food and rustic atmosphere. http://www.whiteysfishcamp.com/

On Saturday we will meet at Gainesville Raceway under one tent. This is for our cars, as well as the friends from several other car sites we have invited, and I don't care if your car is gerbil powered come and have a great day. http://www.gainesvilleraceway.com/
For a full day of fun in the sun on the asphalt, cost is 65.00 per car with the drivers meal included. Additional guests are 10.00. The food will be provided by one of the best caterers around in Florida, Country Caterers. We will quit at 5 PM, if any one wants to stay for the open public test and tune they can pay the track fees and that starts at 6 PM.

Sunday morning we will all meeting at the Cracker Barrel for breakfast and goodbyes. This will complete our weekend. It will be a great event! We will have good food, raffles lots of fast cars and great company, who can ask for more?
