I installed the Metal Matrix driveshaft from Dennis, and could NOT be happier. I highly recommend it!
 
Drive Shaft

I think Dennis sells a Dynotech driveshaft. Dyno tech started out as a division of General Motors, and then ended up being purchased by Illinois Tool Works.

The only thing I don't like about this driveshaft is the price... anyone know if a police interceptor shaft will work, or what the critical speed is for that shaft?

I know this may be a stupid question but does the maruader share the same tranny as a mustang? If so couldn't you use an aluminum one from FRPP, they're only like 169 bucks.
 
Ford sells a police interceptor Metal Matrix shaft that bolts right in the marauder... no one seems to have used one yet so we will have to wait and see. That one is only 200 bucks.
 
Heres a video of my car from a dead idle stab with a stock engine and just bolt-ons and nothing more, also weighing in at 4150!! Plus Im on a VHT treated track in the heat and humidity.

Now granted I do have a few more bolt-on mods but it will liquify the 275/40 17's effortlessly anytime anywhere.

Do you have to get them shaved.... are they a true DOT drag or are they high performance like the Pirelli P Zero..

I like that phrase "up to 15,000 miles of tread life of normal street-driving use". That means, of course, ****y-footing around on the street which I would never be able to do with those tires on the rear. I'd light 'em up every chance I had so I'd be lucky to get 5,000 miles. Years back, we had a recapper in Pasadena that put soft compound on good casings for all us nuts that loved autocross/gymkana racing on weekends. We had two sets of tires and changed them out the night before we went racing. Only way to go. So what's a set of Nitto's and wheels going to go for as a "weekend" set. I know, I know. I'd probably "forget" to rotate them off after the weekend.

I'm from so.cal. so I'm sure it's the same place.
 
Oh Lord, you're not thinking about Goodyear Blue Streaks, are ya? I pushed 10X15s on the '65 Ramcharger, just two treads...No...nevermind.

Just realized that after my last server 'issues', I hadn't fixed my video link...

Well, fixed it now.

Update: The rear tires for the M are now $85 @ Tire Rack, and THIS is why I care.
