Voltage gauge reading incorrect Voltage

I just picked up a new to me Marauder. I noticed today that when idling the voltage reads around 11-12 and when driving it reads a little below 13. I hooked my volt meter to the battery and it was reading 13.2 with A/C at full blast and the car in drive with someone holding the brake. The voltage gauge was still reading around 11-12. Do these read low or go bad, generally?

Unless it's been replaced with a real guage, it's not more betterer than an IDIOT light.

Ok that's what I thought. I'll just replace that and the oil gauge with real autometer gauges. Thanks!

How does one make a fake voltage gauge?

Voltage Gauge is real in a MARAUDER...

Oil Pressure gauge is an "On/Off" Indicator, unless upgraded to AutoMeter Oil Pressure Gauge with sending unit.

Your readings reported are not too far off from optimum, maybe have battery and alternator checked, for peace of mind.

My oem gauge reads at least 1 volt less than the LED usb cigarette lighter plug in with digital volt display.

it’s like 5 bucks on Amazon
