What are you listening to?

So, got to listen to DatsiK's 'Vitamin D' album....in fact, I'm playing it for the 4th time now. I can't remember if I've ever bought a CD where I liked every single track...I can tell this CD will be in my car 24/7 when I finally get around to installing my sub and amp soon.

This CD is probably my #1 or #1a now (I have about 500 total). The ONLY knock is the very last track sounds a bit on the bubble-gum side, but I'm really nit-picking here. Every track is incredibly great.

MOS #3, disc #1 finished strong...if I didn't like the DatsiK CD so much, it would be my #1. Disc #2 was more mellow than #1, which in retrospect isn't a bad thing; it is a good compilation...I think there were maybe 3 or 4 tracks I skipped. MOS #3 is definitely worth getting.

Would you mine sharing your favorite song of this album? Lol im always looking forward to listening to something different.

In my experience the albums I liked right off the bat ended up collecting dust later, mainly I find if it takes 3-4 listens before it clicks it usually has good staying power.
Just my experience though.

Black Country Communion. Crazy great band, they said they didn't mean to sound like a band from 1974, it just turned out that way.

Glenn Hughes, lead vocals most of the time, us old guys will remember him from Deep Purple and Trapeze. Jason Bonham, drums, not as good as his dad but pretty damn good. Joe Bonamassa, good God what a guitar player. Derek Sherinian, keyboards, his bringing it back.

This first one is a great tune, but you can skip to 4:45 if you just want to hear guitar playing that will give you eargasms.

Glenn is a monster, 60+ and still plays and sounds freaking awesome. Love the bass hook in this one.

Joe played here last month, he was amazing. His new album is available for download:

Sorry it's taken me a while to reply...been busy with school this week.

I simply cannot pick one song as my favorite on DatsiK's Vitamin D album...all of them are really good. These tracks are the best (by a slim margin):

2. "Fully Blown"
3. "Syndrome"
4. "Bonafide Hustler"
6. "Need You"
9. "Complete Control"
11. "Napalm"

Throughout the week this week I have received the second round of CDs I ordered recently.

Bassnectar - "Cozza Frenzy". I've only listened to it once, and it was in my car (which sucks compared to my home stereo system), so can't really express an opinion on it just yet.

Bassnectar - "Divergent Spectrum". See Cozza Frenzy...mainly because it has the track "The Matrix"...been playing that track almost non-stop since I received it Wednesday. Will give my opinion when I actually listen to all songs and on my home stereo.

I also received Excision "X-rated" and Noisia "Fabriclive.40". I have not even opened these yet.

I'm now interested/liking Flux Pavillion (Bass Cannon...WOW!) and Doctor P...will most likely get some of their stuff soon.

I'm hoping I'll have my subwoofer/amp installed before the end of the month so I can enjoy them in my car as much as I do at home...going to be putting some miles on my MM then (Charlotte-Raleigh-Charlotte-ATL-home) and would love to be able to ride with a kickin' sound system pumping out these tunes!
