What did you do to your car today?

Wanna know once you are done. ALl parts on top of desk, waiting....

Just ordered a matching rear stainless line kit from Todd, and two pairs of speed bleeders. They sure do look purty, that's for sure.

I might just be spoiled as the mustang I have been driving alot recently has tremendous overbite with the 6 piston brembos.

Thought I'd change my BCM since it's been acting up lately. This is what I had to do:

Looks like to tensioner guides are good:

Had to remove the right side cam cover to access the BCM because I have an original DR rear cooling mod installed. Of course the hoses are in front of the BCM.

I figured I'd change the upstream O2 sensors. The swaps when OK. While under the MM I noticed that both upper control arm ball joint boots are torn. Also noticed that the right side motor mount was missing the nut. Waiting for Rock Auto to deliver the cam cover gaskets, new plugs (Autolite XP-103) and motor mount.

Will be ordering both upper and lower control arms, front shocks & misc. parts. Already have new camber bolts and sway bar end links and sway bar collars.

Pretty clean for a 92k motor.... Mobile 1 oil & filter changes every 5k since new.

Also replaced the plastic "T's" originally installed, with brass "T's".

FYI - Autolite Spark Plug Rebate

Just an FYI.........

I ordered a set of 8 plugs for the MM - XP 103 Iridium - one heat range colder than stock (stock number is XP 104) from Rock Auto.

AP 104 - Platinum $1.87 ea - rebate $1.00 ea.
APP 104 - Double Platinum $3.33 ea - rebate $2.00 ea
XP 104 - Iridium $3.95 ea - rebate $2.50

Went for a roll!

Haven't really driven the Black (other than my 2 mile circuit) or washed it for a year. Pulled it out last night, washed it and dried every nook and cranny (we have hard water). I awoke, spray washed and waxed it this AM. Just took it for a quick spin, put some tire shine on, burned some serious sideways rubber!

Looking good bro!

Tires were rotated side to side and yes, the correct amount of oil was filled so the dipstick level is in the recommended range RubberCtyRauder. :)

what tires do you have? directional can't be rotated side to side unless dismounted and flipped . I only brought it all up as more than one has had the dealer rotate tires wrong.

She rides on BFG stock replacement tires, they aren't directional as far as I am aware of since there are zero directional markings on the sidewalls. If I am mistaken, kindly correct me RubberCtyRauder.

Thanks in advance!

OEM are asymmetrical (not directional, unidirectional are a different animal) which can not be safely moved side to side unless dismounted & flipped. They will lose wet traction as the water will fail to be channeled out causing hydroplaning very easy = ooops, you are screwed...

Hmmm... the OEM replacements on her are BFG g-Force T/A KDWS in the stock sizes for both the front and rear MyBlackBeasts.

Obviously I'm not a tire expert :o , but they appear to have the "angled facing" tread pattern of the tires facing forward. Any input would be appreciated.
Again, thanks in advance!

Most of the replacement tires that most of us have changed to are directional thus why I brought it up.
Directional tires have an arrow on the sidewall stipulating direction of rotation

No worries RubberCtyRauder, who would have thunk tire rotation was so much of a PITA to comprehend! :o

Yet another reason why I'm pleased w/ the generous time and input from fellow MM owners here!

Installed FBM's foggers. Thanks bud
