Left her at home today ...
But this week, put over 300 miles on her commuting to and from work on the open highway. Had runs into speeds that I should not be driving ... but boy was it fun! Averaged 18.5 mpg on California gas.
Next week, she is the commute car again ... will be driving open highways again next week ...

Got my LCM and EATC back from Mr fastblackmerc.
Excellent work and service. Most of you already know that.
Reinstalled. Found more junk from the previous owner under the front seats.

Finally got my broken trans out.
Wonder how long it will take to put the "new" one in.
If you have the option, don't buy a rusty marauder.

How was getting out the cross member? I may have to do the same and hear it is a nightmare.

Today I kicked mine in the tailpipe. New engine sounds pissed offf like it wants to run formula one. Trans won’t go into reverse. Hit the tea brake burton when the shifter is in R, nothing. Wired like it’s supposed to. Unplugged everything, measured resistance coming off the reverse solenoid. Grounded. Grrrrrr. I just put all that tranny fluid in and have to drain it

Finally installed my 5th transmission. 
4th transmission in the last 7k miles.
3rd one in 2 years.
I've driven it 191 miles since 2011; which is why I really haven't been on here. It makes me upset sometimes.
But on the upside, it only has 58k on it.
Maybe I'll get to drive it next week.
Who knows....

Was tons of fun. :banghead:
Took some creative prying and a little hammering to get it out. It's definitely getting a good shave before going back in. Let me know if you need a hand when the time comes.

Had new rear axle housing ends put on my 9-inch, upgraded to 40-spline gun drilled Strange Engineering setup. New Strange HD Pro aluminum bolt-thru carrier with 3.70 gears and lightened spool. Strange low profile calipers and two-piece rotors. Also added Billet Specialties 15x14 double beadlock Winlites.

Strange makes great components! They built me a third member using the HD pro aluminum case 3.250 for 35 spline axles on 4.11 gears , Very well built stuff!

#1 Factory one died at 51k.
#2 Got a stock replacement from John (TooManyFords). I botched a j-mod with the screen and bent the separator plate and the one piston was upside down. Blew out 3rd and 4th gear.
#3 built unit from Eric lasted 191 miles. Lost all forward gears
#4 Eric mans up and rebuilds it at no cost, trying to make things better. I applaud him for this action. But it never had 4th gear.
#5 75k mile unit out of a CV LX sport (from a friend) Only because I just want to friggin drive my stupid limited edition paperweight.
