What did you do to your car today?

Hooked up the steering wheels controls for the aftermarket radio. It was pretty tricky to program but figured it out within 30mins.

Drove it to work for the first time this year. And added another panther to my stable. Bought my son a 03 town car.

First time out this year. And after 2 1/2+ years this time with boost finally.. Well kind of. I’ve decided to be easy on it for the first 500 miles (first oil change interval) wether needed or not as I have zero plans on purchasing a third F1!!

Anyways, I drove it to breakfast, and my son drove it home. Now to wash all the metal dust off it from fabricating the bobber build over the long winter/spring months..

Still plenty of things left to do but drivable again.

And oh yeah, yet another burp session/system fill without even running the engine... I think I spilled perhaps ten drops of coolant removing the funnel and capping it. I simply do not get everyone’s issue with this!

Took MM out for 1st time after cam install and timing chain guides/tensioners.

Original TC guides/tensioners were in great shape, after pulling cam covers decided what the heck so pulled TC cover and did them along with intake cams because I can.

Was a fun cool job, great learning experience as 1st time inside a mod motor.

Runs great! 90 smooth miles with windows down - BEAUTIFUL day!

Exterior detail with ceramic coating, still have some paint correction to do...and a care package from MartyO, and a shirt from the wife.

Collected my Silver Birch Marauder from the importer, after a whole year of fighting and haggling with authorities it is finally road legal and passed German safety and emission inspection aka TÜV. Getting plates next week, then taking it on a road trip to Italy.
