What did you do to your car today?

Removed StainlessWorks x-pipe and replaced it with a Magnaflow Tru-X muffler. Quieted the exhaust down a bit, still loud but much more tolerable at part throttle. Also has more of a rumble sound to it, rather than the token, raspy sound you get from a standard x-pipe.

Going from one doctor to another today I got tired of being passed.
Opened it up but left the a/c and stereo on. Went from 77 to 130 and back very quickly.
Man, I STILL love this car.

PS this occurred in mexico...

Took it out on an essential drive. It has not moved in almost a month between rain, SARS2 and my mom moving (truck is out for that). What a blast to get up on the freeway ... smoked the tires and got thumbs up from two different folks. Still smiling as I sit back down and return to working from home meetings.

Had a marker light delete it's self on the interstate...guess the nut loosen'd on My 8hr road trip. Made it 20 mins from home before it flew away, ripped the harness and damaged the bulb sockets. Got 2 harness' from the junk yard from a Marquis. Modified the connector to plug in. Had a spare marker light in My parts section in garage. Back in Business. Luckily the car wasn't damaged!

Son and I took our vintage sport bikes out yesterday on an essential GTFO of the house ride too! Still fire up, run, ride, and stop like brand new! What a rush.

I had to move the Marauder forward a foot to unbury mine and pushed it back a foot when done if that counts?

Is this the bike you rode to dinner with me and Joe?

Shop got started pulling the motor out of mine and prepping to drop in the cobra long block I acquired for it. Doing the Eaton swap also while they have it.

Can you please PM me with where you got it painted and details on cost and quality of the job they did? Can't PM you, says your inbox is stuffed.

Finally replaced all of the EATC bulbs with LEDs. Three have been burned out for a couple of years. It never really bothered me considering I set the temp to 72 back in ‘04...

You could say I don’t really have much of a fidgeting disorder as my pedals, seats, tilt, and temp controls were all set in ‘04 and left the hell alone!

Engine was cutting out at full throttle. I could ease into and it would be fine but felt underpowered. A/F was holding at 11 to 1 so I knew fuel wasn't the issue. Then I checked boost and it was only getting up to 7psi instead of the normal 14psi. Just as I suspected, one of the t-bolt clamps worked its way loose. Tightened it back up and all is good! I also installed a factory lower air dam under the radiator. The F.I.T. kit instructed to remove it, which the previous owner did. Was having issues with the temp getting higher than it should. Now with the air dam, temps stay nice and low while cruising!

Marauder cleaned up yesterday (essential business!) - darn pollen! Oops...needed a new wiper blade too. Temps in the mid 80s - used a/c for the first time - worked properly as expected.. Pure motoring pleasure as I went shopping afterwards then back home.

Reading this reminds me of all the issues of pipe blow offs I watched Dominick go thru and why I was having none of that! But this ain’t too bad considering it didn’t come apart on you and assuming this is first time you’ve had to adjust it. If not, weld it! [emoji16]
