What did you do to your car today?

They’re here! Just need to figure out where to mount everything as far as the ballasts and relays. Anyone have any pics of their setup?

Hey y'all, got my projectors successfully installed in the car. I'm in love already. Kevin does great work; I called him once I got 'em working and he helped me aim them. I think I'll have to do some minor adjustments down the road (hah) but so far they work (and look) great!

Just read your saga JustBob about the exploding rear diff. To bad you don't know how to beef it up with a 9".(TWSS) :P

Oh I do, but I’m not willing to spend the time or money. Truth is I lost interest in this car years ago. 6 speed certainly helped 7 1/2 years ago, two years later the power increase was great but it really never outweighed the cost and headaches associated. Besides the two diffs this year I will say it’s been nothing but trouble free. I think I just over did my effort and I’m just not feeling it anymore.

I’ll more than likely just throw in another one out of warranty and get rid of it in the spring. Someone else can easily take it to the next level if they so those.

Drive it over 8hrs to Atlantic City n back. Won over $800 on slots, picked up a supercharger on the way home. One of the last pieces to My Eaton swap puzzle.

LED headlight bulbs GTR 2.0 Ultra from Panther lights

Installed the GTR 2.0 Ultra headlight bulbs today I got from Panther lights. See pics below, the pics with the fog lights are the Morimoto Fog lights from Panther lights also. I took a picture with only 1 bulb replaced so you can see the difference, the passenger bulb was a phillips extreme or similar one I had put in.

Updated with more pics, all I can say is WOW!!!! These are brighter than I thought they were going to be

So, um, yeaaah...

A week ago brake light comes on in my mother's car (2001 Honda civic); I pop hood and notice fluid is low, so go buy some brake fluid and top it off. After 2-3 days the light is still on (she doesn't drive it every day), notice fresh fluid spots on garage floor so something is leaking; make an appointment to have car looked at today. I follow her to shop; notice the 3rd brake light isn't working on the way. After giving the mechanic the key and explanation of what is wrong/needs attention, we get in my car to go home...my car won't start. It turns over, but is not getting fuel...suspect fuel pump crapped out right at that moment. So, go back inside garage and give them the key to MY car and get the key back to my mother's car, leave MY car at garage and come home in my mother's car...like, really?:help:

You should have pounded on the Marauder's fuel tank while cycling the ignition key 'ON' & 'OFF'.
Sometimes that will get the fuel pump to run again.
I had this problem with my infrequently driven Marauder.
Occasionally, with NO warning, it would stop running....WTF!?
Bang on fuel tank...Vrooom!

That was a very efficient trip to your mechanic, though! Merry Christmas? Ha!

Well, it's hard to do something one isn't aware of...lol. And besides, I would have had to make the tough decision to ask my 82 y/o mother if she wanted to either bang on the fuel tank or cycle the ignition. :D
At any rate, the car has 178k on it and the fuel pump was not cycling on when trying to start, so regardless if I could have gotten it to start up again it needs a new fuel pump. Might as well replace the fuel filter as well as it's been about 50k miles and 4-5 years since last time.

Yeah, like I want to be mad about it but I can't since it happened in the parking lot of a car shop...lol.

Maybe....but pulling the fuel pump in a Panther is a PITA.
They're charging by the hour for labor, so.....$$$$
