What does your significant other think of your Marauder?

Momma loved the DTR and the Blue, that is until I started doing mods to the DBP.

At first, the 4.10 gears and tune were "annoying"; she hates the car since I got the "stupidcharger" installed..., but she enjoys going to the meets. My daughter hates it too (she's the one who coined the name for the Eaton), she's afraid of it. :shake:

Any guesses as to what E-Dubb thinks about it? ;) -----> :D
Hey Rex!! Don't kid yourself....Terry's out there right now in the DPB blowing the doors off the motoring public! :D Better leave the car with me next time you leave town (and country);)

Ah-ha! I took the mileage before I left, she better put on some of those miles driving backwards... :D

Ex-wife wanted her own black one with a sunroof.

G/F likes the comfy heated seats, that's about it.

I'll let her answer. ;)

The other one didn't care for it too much but enjoyed the meets. Funny how she was never really into cars but now she owns a 2011 camaro in bright red with Lamborghini doors. (yes I'm serious) plus now she travels all over the country with her camaro club. I blame myself for that.

My wife isn't really into cars but knows how much I love my 2011 Mustang GT and 2003 MM. She just kind of shakes her head whenever the Marauder is brought up by friends or family. I don't think she really gets what makes it such a cool car, but takes my word for it. We usually drive it on road trips and she enjoys the comfy passenger seat. It scares the hell out of her when I gun it and the tires break loose shifting into 2nd (thats the 4.10s, J-Mod, and tune doing their thing) :burnout:

The Wife absoultley loves the MM every chance she gets to drive it she gone.....lol
When I asked my son which car he would like out of the cars I have I can't beleive that he picked the MM or the Typhoon as the two he wants.........
My daughter already said If I was to sell the MM she would really be disappointed in me, she love the trip to FLA in the car....maybe cause she got to sit in the front...lol

I will answer the question this way! We just went an picked up a 2003 Dark Blue Pearl and my wife has claimed it as HERS!

My wife pretty much thinks if ya can't haul dirt in it, and you have to go around puddles it's a POS.
That said she has a 96 F150 with 219000 on the clock that I maintain mechanically but refuse to wash/wax other than when I 1st bought it for her and said "take a mental picture of it now because it will never look this good again" I was right.
When we dated, we went to car shows and the drag strip.
Now not so much. If she knew I was a co-sponsor of SSHS she would have a fit!

Joey and Bob you already know I gotta hide the keys from the wife! You'll see her driving me around because she constantly bothers me to drive Merideath and I eventually give in! I blame her Dad... Mrs. was a tomboy growing up and was Daddy's girl. According to the Mrs her Dad was a gear head out in Hawaii and took her down the racing track several times. She remembers her Dad telling her that if Mom asks don't tell her where she went. Lol, she didn't lie to mom or would be so excited that she forgot to tell Mom something else, hence a fight began between Mom and Dad. When i finally met the Father in law all we did was talk cars and i felt right at home, btw thanks for the blessing Pops! Father in law has owned several Chevelles and Impala SS in his day! We're actually thinkin' of purchasing something similar or a SB MARAUDERin the future. I'll say it again... We were minutes short of purchasing Rider90's MARAUDER, but BradleyG ruined that for us. LMAO, Brad you'll never hear the end of it!

Update: Mrs. Confirmed a 1980's quote when she was a child. Her dad said, "Don't tell your mom where we went, if she asks tell her we went to get ice cream!" -Papa Wayne-
I saved you big time ,... That's all I can say for now.:stupid:

I can get her to jump like a cat!

Mrs Bradley G. loves the Marauder , when I pound the loud pedal,... Not so Much,

Had I bought one, my wife would have considered it an old person's car.

She has no desire to drive my 2003 TBird retro, and I will not let her drive the 64 Galaxie.

(Heaven forbid, we put the top down!!!!!!!)

As hers has heated seats, I tell everyone my wife has the hottest azz in all of Palm Coast!

...as I'm reading the OP, my wife was reading over my shoulder. Taps my on the back: "It's an old man's car".

She doesn't give me grief about it usually. She knows it makes me happy and that I dig the site. She'll drive it under protest if her "cushy" car is laid-up. She tells me she feels she's scaring people when she drives it...........my point exactly!! ;)
