Glad you and the family are fine. I often warn my daughters of this peril as it as you know can affect anyone no matter how cautious we are.

Thanks for your kind comments. This caught us totally by surprise and I really did not think of this type of scenario. Glad I kept full coverage on both vehicles.

Sorry for the delay in posting this but Sunday night during the snow storm my wife and I were driving seperate vehicles, hit a patch of black ice and we totaled both of them. Everyone is okay and I am now working on my options with the insurance company.

The important thing is my wife and kids are okay and we all walked away without a scratch.

And before you ask NO the Marauder was not involved. It is safely stored in the garage.

I would like to personally thank everyone who attended our meetings and those who gave us many ideas for this event. Your work and efforts were very much appreciated. I could not have even come close to doing this without your great support.

I hope we can count on everyone for volunteering if we win the bid.

Thank you -hopefully the stuff gets resolved. I think I am going to buy back the cars and have them fixed. Still debating. :beer:

Thank you my friend -no I am feeling okay i just banged my left foot up pretty good. Kids and wife are okay except the wife has the flu now .... :(

Just looked at my truck today and it is jacked! Whole left side from drivers door down to the rear bumper is smashed. Looks like a hill with separate moguls in it. Back of the bed the metal is actually torn. Hard to do anything when it is 6 degrees out!

Might have to breakdown and buy a new used one ....hard cause I actually love my truck!

Didn't see this posting of the accident with your family. Sorry to hear of the family being in one at the same time, but glad to hear everyone made it ok , except for a few bruises, soreness. Hope the insurance decisions work out and everyone can move forward to better things.:beer:
 
Nope ya can't drive the GN for a while! You forgot how to put it back together but I'm working on it so that car is not on the list!

geez Brad, it would be bad enough to wreck one, but both? :bigcry: Really glad that all is well with everyone..:)..that's the important thing!!!!! the bid is in and now we wait...i'll call you soon...was a pleasure meeting your wife and sons the other day
 
Wow Brad! I'm glad to hear you both are ok, cars are replaceable not loved ones. I hope your process with the insurance company is a smooth one.
 
Thanks guys I appreciate it! It was tough Paul especially with two cars at one time! Trying to get extra time from the insurance company on the rental car and looking for parts.

Anyone down south run into a nice 1994-1996 Dodge Ram pick-up bed? Not sure how I can ship it up here but the majority of beds up here are all rust buckets and not worth it to fix. If someone sees a nice southern one please let me know.

There not going to give me a lot for my truck so I have to try and fix it as cheap as possible.

And Thanks dad for offering the GN For me to drive -I think I will skip that for now. :)
