For Sale XCal2 with Lidio Tune

Bought Sept. 2005 from AA.

Contains 93 and 91 octane tunes for stock gearing and one for 4.10 (?) gears.

Selling for $150 + shipping. Chicago local pickup preferred.

I've had the locked/unlocked question come up a couple times. Based on my previous use and understanding it is locked once you program the tune into a car. When you unload the tune it reverts to unlocked. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

WRT "catch code": I have no idea. Since the tune was unloaded and the Marauder is gone is there a way to tell? I'll hook up to PC and see if I can determine.

Edit: Just connected to PC and I see that it shows "FW Rev 1.14" and "5 changes left" Stat-Stock" under device info.

Second Edit: Tug you are first on the list if this acceptable/correct.

What Pat said...what year car/computer (sticker was in driver's side door jamb) is this for? Did you have a 2003 300A or what? That may help determine the catch code. Thanks-

This was for a 2004. I don't recall ever needing to provide a VIN or receiving a code when I bought the tune.

Is this locking thing something that people started doing later? Anything I can tell by looking directly at the tuner via USB?

I guess I'm really confused too because since I returned it to stock can't you use LiveLoad to "unlock" it for another car (if that's what you are after)?

Basically, if it's "locked" it has to be sent to SCT to be "unlocked", and they charge roughly $150.00 to do this. It is useless to anyone if it is indeed locked...

I tried selling my locked XCal-3 (also with Lidio tunes) for $150. a few months ago and I had no takers. Maybe $75.00 for your "2" would be feasible?

Fyi everyone

If it's for a 2004 it has a MAV2 PCM/ECM code as IIRC all '04's are of the MAV2 variety.
