Drivers Window Motor/Regulator Replacement

I have a new OEM switch panel coming today because my driver's window is inop.
I have a feeling that it is the motor, but got the switch anyway because the one I had was a Chinese knockoff and the express down didn't always work right.

After a 2 minute search, I found this video on youtube showing how to change out JUST the motor, not the regulator, which I have no interest in doing or paying for.

That video shows the old style motor and GEAR. Yes they were very easy to change. You can't do that easily with the new style motor and CABLE system.

This video shows how to replace reculator and motor assembly.

I just looked up the window motor and regulator on RockAuto and read the instructions for 1992-2010 CV and GM. The Town Car in the video I linked is exactly the same.

I would rather save $30 and the extra time and just change the motor.

Got the new switch. Still inop. Took off the door panel. Could feel the motor trying to move. Took it off, turns fine. The regulator is stuck. Ordering a new one along with the motor for good measure.

Well I have had to work on the regulator in my spare time and I have not had a lot lately. Just to refresh it is the rear passenger side door. I have the new regulator in but not attached to the window yet. The window regulator is working fine but the track looks twisted all the way at the top (when you run it till the end of the track upward it looks twisted). I think it will not be a problem because when the glass is attached it will not run all the way up. Any thoughts? Also, the best way to get the molding to go back in after putting the window back in
