In Memoriam: Marauderboi

As if it were just yesterday...

Six years ago when I joined MM.net, I remember seeing Alex's posts and how full of life he was and then transitioning into a young man.

Truly sad to hear of this tragic news.

My most heartfelt prayers go out to Alex and his family, and may they have strength in getting thru this very difficult time.

God Bless.

Mike.

I too am deeply saddened to hear about this --I , like so many ahead of me here, met Alex at MVIV. He was a remembrance of me a lot when I was young, loving cars with my Dad...and such a nice kid....and the fun we had with him and his Dad being apart of the lucky 13 --with his help we will forever have that film clip that had already been posted again of that race of his in-car camera antics...which turned out perfect!..

I am as shocked as everyone here----My prayers and thoughts as expected are with his family.

He will always be in my memory from MVIV and the fun events we had shared together with our cars.

Ideas...

I think we should all gather in his honor as part of the SSM state picnic...

Dave, Abbey, Summer...

Know that your shining son will live on in all of us...

My deepest condolences for your loss Dave.

Although I had never corresponded with Alex, he sounds like he was a pleasure to be around with.

So sorry for your loss, prayers sent.

Excellent idea Rich.
He's all I've been thinking about since I heard the horrible news.

I believe that is a very honorable and respectful way to celebrate the life of our youngest member. I am on board for anything to make this a possibility.

I would like to thank everyone for thier kind words and prayers they are felt by me and my whole family, Alex was my little boy, I feel like my heart was taken from me. I just returned from the Funeral home making the arragemnts
parents should never have to go thru this, the service will be Tuesday 8-17-10 at Curlew Memorial Gardens at 11:00am to 1:30pm http://www.curlewhills.com/
Please pray for his friend who was in the car with him he is still in critical condition.
Alex was out doing me a favor he was on his way home from having some exhaust work done on Trilogy #145 he was less than 2 miles from home when I recieved a call from a friend and he asked me if both our Marauders were at home I said no Alex is out in my car getting some work done he then said there was a wreck involving a black MM right up the sreet I raced to the scene and dropped to my knees in Horror.
Please do not believe all the crap on the news and in the papers Alex was only 18 and a good boy. Me and my family are still in shockhttp://www.tampabay.com/news/public...ew-port-richey-crash-sends-car-flying/1115086

Eric and I are keeping you and your family in our prayers. We are so very sorry for your loss. We deeply hope that Alex's friend will make a full recovery. He and his family are in our prayers as well.

Dave, I feel for your loss. If there is anything I can do let me know.
Alex was a Good Man, no matter what media BS says. With internet many people say stupid stuff.
I and the rest of the MM community know better, and are mourning his loss.

Dave, we know he was A wonderful young man, he will be missed among us like if he was our one child. I am at your will if you need help. God bless Alex and family.

I haven't been on the boards much these days but when I browsed the site this morning I was not expecting this.
You could tell by his posts he was a good kid and when I met you both at a meet about 3 years ago in Tampa it was nice to see he was a good kid in person. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as well as Alex's friend and his family.

I'm so, so sorry for this loss. I really am. My condolences and thoughts and prayers are with the his family.

I don't post here as much as I did, but did he ever get his own MM or did he still have the silver Crown Vic LX?

The one on the left in my sig was going to be his we just got done rebuilding the engine and had some minor other issues to iron out and then we were going to sell the vic.

Been thinking all day of what to say, yet I am still at a loss for the proper words.

I am very sorry for the family.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I don't know any of those involved but reading the story and the posts here made me choke up. I bring my 2 little boys to Englishtown as often as I can and I'm excited to teach them about cars. This whole disturbing situation and what these tortured parents must be going through makes me wonder what I would do if something happened to 1 of my boys. Makes me feel sick to my stomach.

I can't properly express the sadness I feel for the parents, family and friends. I wish them strength beyond strength for the coming hours, days and beyond.
