Well today after the raffle drawing I took a ride out to Wild Woodys to see what was going on. Nothing there so I decided to go on Woodward. As I was leaving Woodys a Chrysler 300C decided he would follow me to the light. Well you know what happened next, the light changed I hit it. Problem was I had a little loss of traction and he got me by about a half of car length. By the time I hit second I was two cars on him and it was over. I then headed over to Woodward and met up with a 1970 RoadRunner. We took off together and we were side by side until we hit about 100. He then pulled on me. He then slowed down and showed me his hat. It said he belong to a "Turbo" club. His old RoadRunner had a turbo installed. Man that was sneaky. Anyway, I then turned around and headed home only to by tried by a Suburu WRX. This time I feathered it out of the hole and beat him three times. He smiled and waved. I guess Mike hasn't scared everyone off Woodward yet.

If Mike's Marauder is black, then your being silver is probably stealth for you. BTW, with the drag radials on the street I've found the best way with my S/Ced MM is to use half throttle to get it out of the hole, and the rubber grabs real good that way until the car moves about 20 or 25 feet and then while it's still in first gear, I can hammer it and it's all traction after that. And that's with 4.56 gears and a 3,000 RPM stall speed. So you might want to try it that way. ;)

Thanks Billy. I later learned how to launch it better with that WRX. Still learning.

Hey Jim? Wait until I get there. With my ET's, and 2 sec reaction times, we could really set 'em up for Darryl. :flamer:

You're an idiot for racing on the street. Take it to the track where it belongs.
I'm sure you have "NEVER" done that. Get a life. :P

Just ignore that Darryl. I got the same thing on here when I first installed my Trilogy kit. I was waiting for that. there's always one or two. ( "genius" ) Like he has a blown Cobra to drive slow. (right).

Nope, never have, never wanted to. I've got nothing to prove. My ego is just fine. I have a life because I haven't been that stupid. I'm tired of hearing about people racing each other and one of them ends up wrapping their car around a tree or t-boning someone who pulled out in front of them. You never know what's in front of you on a public road and its too late when you find out.

Correct, I don't drive all that slow. But, I'm smart enough not to more than double the speed limit with another dumb ass next to me on a public road.

I'm usually the first to admit when I'm wrong or when I'm not knowledgeable enough. But, I'm right here. If you race on the street, you are an idiot. Take it to the track.

I can tell you are one classy guy :shake: . One thing I have never done here is lower myself to name calling :nono: . If you have problem state it without the name calling. Thank you for your input.

Hey Slim, I would not sweat him too much, he sounds like he has a chip on his shoulder from something, IE someone he knows got hurt or even killed or he got hurt, something happened to him to post a response like that. I work for the fire dept and make accidents all day long and to be honest i have not made one accident this year involving a street race. You hear about street racing accidents on the news because regular car accidents are boring. I dont condone street racing because you never know what will happen but i myself do it and i think if you are racing someone who appears to be a serious car fanatic they will race while being as careful as they can. I will race someone on a open strech with good visibility and only up to about 70 mph or so, i think within that time you know who would win in a quarter. I will be getting my trilogy kit on wedn. and have it on in a week or 2. I would love to go to the dream cruise if i can get off work. I use to live in livonia and work in southgate for Roush racing. I hope we can meet one day.
