I remember when I used to show mine and the feeling I had actually getting trophies. It was the occasional ****face that would say to his friend "why is this here? It's newer and lame" making sure not to say it too loud, nor too quiet, basically making sure I'd here it. Problem was half the time I felt they were right as I'm truly a roadster/coupe/restomod guy at heart. I just simply can't afford it currently. Of course the older she gets it seems like everybody turns heads now, I average at least one thumbs thumbs up from much nicer cars every time out, and it seems EVERYONE knows what a Marauder is the older she gets. Basically, the respect level has come full circle.

This ! Now that every third car on the street isn't a Crown Vic or a Grand Marq, and the ones that are left are looking beat, people really notice a nice Marauder. Devil Girl turns heads every time I take her out :)

You da Man Tommy Boy!!

You deserve bro!

DTR + 4.10's + Eaton swap = Wreeeeeeeeeeeeeeedom

On a side note: the judges were warned about the fit you would have if you didn't win. Not saying that played a part but just thought it should be known :run:

I'm kidding man, settle down :D

You did very well indeed...good for you and the MM...you did us all proud.
I have never been to a car show here in this area (Texas hill country) where there was another MM...mine is always the only one and most people do not even know what it is...one good ol' boy told me at a show last year, "I never seed a Ford motor with heads that big."

Right on dude!

It helped that I had the Hot Rod magazine MM reproduction on the front cowling in a frame, along with my Ford Certificate and a list of all the mods done as well.

Dom once said it best. It's the young, import crowd that recognizes and knows more about the Marauder than the older muscle car and street rod crowd.

I've been showing my Marauder at cruises and shows for 6 years here in town and still get asked what it is and did it come like that from the factory.

I go to an import-heavy cruise and EVERYONE knows what it is. Go figure.

Back on topic: Congrats on the win. You represented us well.
