As you know, our overall group hotel reservations have declined in recent years and I was doubtful that the Central Hotel would work with me for 2019.

I'm happy to announce that they agreed to provide us a block of 10 rooms for Carlisle 2019! I am asking members to reserve their room right away because if all 10 rooms get spoken for, they will add more to our block. Remember you can always cancel your room if your plans change.

Mr.Man and I reserved our room which leaves 9 rooms left to go around. Please don't wait! Reserve a room today!

I'm hoping to get more interest in room reservations for 2019 to see more Marauder owner attendance at Carlisle. It's a great weekend and without a Marauderville, it is one of the last yearly club events to draw members from across the country. As you know, room rates for that weekend can be really expensive throughout the area. I'd like to keep our Marauders at Carlisle group block at The Central Hotel alive to offer a less expensive rate at a really nice, full service hotel with a pool and a huge parking lot. Not to mention O'Reilly's Tap Room where a full hot breakfast is included with your room.

That leaves 5 rooms to go! If the rest sell out soon enough, the hotel has agreed to add more if they have any.

You know, Connie, I thought it was 2008? I see O'sFan Rich there but I think you might be right that it was maybe '09. Hopefully someone can confirm. And yes, that is TooManyFords blue car from Iowa and I believe it was this year. :)

Top Pic is 2008 when we were on the flat and it was 102*F in the shade. We were all trying to stay cool and only the brave wandered the Showfield on Saturday.

Bottom pic is TMF in 2018 .... Yellow 476 !!

BINGO! Thanks Charlie. How could I forget the high heat and humidity?! It was brutal!!! That was the first Carlisle for Mr. Man & me. Been every year since, so guess it didn't scare us off.:cool:

2008 All-Ford Nationals (Carlisle, PA), "Marauders at Carlisle", 6-8 June 2008, 27 MMs attend. Location down on the flats near the picnic area. (DOOM, Blackened300a, and FastMerc take home MM trophies. Blown3.8 gets T-Bird trophy)
