Cool! :coolman:
Mr Man, up until now, we were just arriving when we could but I don't see why we couldn't try to designate a prior meeting area
(the Mrs might like to know that, of the 3 MM's we had in July, 2 were SB's!!).[/QUOTE]
I am so proud!! :coolman:
...and 1 was SUPER-clean. I believe it had 24k miles. His engine bay was
much cleaner than mine......and I have a brand new engine!!
The event is free to enter. Gates open at 5pm and it ends promptly at 9pm. The last 45mins-hour is dedicated to a burn-out contest. There is food and drinks available including a beer garden.
It's more of a gathering than a formal car show. There are very few info boards and displays. No judging or trophies. It's really more of an event for car folks to hang-out.
All cars are welcomed...yes that includes imports, and they usually show in good numbers. Generally they stay on 1 end of the lot and the US cars, new and old, are on the other end. Lots of Mustangs/Camaros but there's usually a good mix of cars.
The free 1/4 mile pass is open to absolutely anyone
BUT, because of prep for a monster-truck event next Wednesday, they're only having 1/8 mile passes next week
Early weather reports look good for next Tuesday. Last month was
really hot and that kept overall attendance down. But I did get to meet 2 new faces for names I see here.....and that was :coolman:
