Gas prices in Shreveport, La area

Silly me, I used the wrong example. I should have said that cars are more economical and are using less gas.

This is correct which is why they are posturing about road use miles driven taxes. To collect more $ from fuel efficient vehicle owners. Just think of all those free-loading hybrid & electric car owners!!! Using the roads for free!

Who gives a crap about Canadian dollars?????

If you are paying .96 CAD per liter, you're paying the equivalent of $1.26 US per liter which equates to $4.58 per gallon. The Canadian dollar is worth .76 of a US dollar. Enjoy your bloated socialist gas prices. You deserve it.

:rofl::lol::rofl::lol::rofl:

Hahaha! You almost made me spit beer!

".96 cents a litre for regular right now which would put it about $2,75 US per US gallon, not bad for these parts!"

This is what i wrote that set you off. I highlighted the part you can't seem to comprehend.

I see the cookie didn't help at all.

I get it. I converted wrong. But if you came here, you would have to buy dollars and gas a gallon at a time and you would pay about $4.60 CAD per gallon.
So at $10.50 Canadian minimum wage, that's hefty.

As I speculated a few days ago gas prices are now @ $1.97 here in Shreveport. Bossier is $2.01.

Happy Motoring

Hi Jsignorelli

As I recall on my eight trips to the UK, beer is cheaper than gasoline... and it tastes better too!

Not quite dude.

In a bar beer is about £3.50 ($5.40) a pint (20oz full size pint) which makes beer about £23.45 ($36.34) a US gallon. In a grocery store however yeah you can get beer for about the same price as gas

Is that a Lincoln Town car parked at you garage, behind the petrol pumps?

Yeah that's my 92 Town Car

Regards

Dereck

Current price at my towns cheapest petrol station is €1.35/L and converts to $5.90/Gal

That's why my car runs on LPG which is €0.50/L = $2.18/Gal.

Yesterday, due to the falling prices of crude and the stock market tanking, gas was on sale at a local station for $ 1.99 / gallon

Your Marauder?

Yes, it has got a propane tank installed in the trunk so unfortunaltey I lose quite a bit of space there but it's the only way I can afford daily driving this car over here.
