Looks like a Holley 4 bbl carburetor sitting under the air cleaner....actually a TB FI system that monitors and controls A/F ratios, idle speed, cold start, and the ignition advance/curve.

No more changing; jet sizes, power valves, accelerator pump cams, idle speed, initial timing, distributor advance weights and springs, no more sticking choke nor choke plate in the way of airflow.... :blah:

( I do have to swap out the cast iron dizzy gear on the Sniper unit for a steel gear to match the steel roller cam.)

Yeah I know them, I just love the modern day tech but undercover. Same as I like a good audio system but completely out of sight.

That's the look that I'm going for....a 'lightly modded' OEM 4 bbl 5.0L with the stock dual snorkle air cleaner....heh heh heh :D

Here is the dyno results from a very similar 363 build...only this build used AFR 205s vs. AFR 195s for my engine build.
I'm shooting for my peak torque to be 400-500 rpm lower = 4800 -> 5000 rpm.

Nick at American Racing Headers made a set of 1-3/4" x 3" S.S. foxbody headers along with a 3" X-pipe for me.
Super quality, and made in America!

Also, they have the O2 bung welded in for use with the Sniper EFI system.

Good Gawd!

COVID has made getting engine parts such a difficult task!
Lead times are friggin' ridiculous!!

I finally received my AFR Renegade 195 aluminum cylinder heads and my Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake manifold.

Should have the Callies Compstar 3.4" crank and 5.4" rods within the next 2 weeks.

I am still waiting for DART to deliver my SHP 4 bolt main 4.125" bore block.

I'll post engine part 'porn' pictures when I get a chance.
 
Callies 5.4" H beam rods with ARP 2000 Capscrew bolts, light and strong.....
good to 800 HP.
